This smartphone photography workshop has been designed for those who want to capture great photos with their phone while travelling. It can also benefit anyone who simply wants to become better at documenting events or just to appreciate special moments in everyday life. You will learn what your camera’s capabilities are and learn how to harness it for best results. This is through a range of easy techniques set out and explained by your instructor.

We will discuss some of the best free and purchased apps to assist you in developing your photography style. You will learn how to not only take images more effectively but what you can do with them afterwards. We will discuss the business of smartphone imagery and its place in the social market. You will also learn how to monetise your phone images through traditional and social methods.

The only thing that you will need to bring along is a smartphone.


What’s Included/Not Included

Included: You will be provided with a one-day travel card for any use of public transport on the day. Your tour leader will provide these at the meet-up point in the morning.

Not included: We will stop for breaks and lunch however no meals or drinks are provided on this workshop. The cost of getting to and from the meeting point for the workshop is not included in the cost.

Jordan is a travel, landscape and adventure photographer from London with over 20 years experience shooting assignments and hi-end content for travel, tourism, lifestyle brands and companies. This is a one to one workshop so unless you want family or friends to join you, it'll be just you and the instructor.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to learn to take better photos using their smartphone.
This is a very easy workshop but will involve a fair bit of walking in London. This tour is NOT recommended for people with mobility issues.
For this workshop you just need your smartphone.
This workshop will involve walking and the use of some public transportation such as buses and the London Underground.
