Private tours

We have always believed that small groups are best for travelling. Not only are they safer to run and manage. But they are also much more sustainable and responsible. This is even more important for a photography course where learning is key.

For this reason we run all our UK workshops as private tours. This means workshops can be tailored to exactly what you want to achieve. Whether it’s a night photography tour or landscape photography, imagine how much you could learn in a few days with a private instructor to guide you!

*Private tours are open to groups should you already be two or more people looking to attend the workshop.

You may have only recently decided to take up photography and find it all overwhelming. Or you may have some knowledge but struggle to capture the sort of photos that you dream of. Or you could be a serious amateur with years of experience but want to take your photography to the next level.

Whatever level you are at, we can help you achieve your photography goals. If you are unsure if you would benefit from this London photography workshop or wish to know more, feel free to email us. London Photo Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Our first morning together will start at Trafalgar Square in the heart of London. After a brief meet-and-greet, we will start making our way towards Buckingham Palace arriving in time to see the changing of the guards. From there we head to Piccadilly Circus and spend a few hours exploring the many different areas. From Covent Garden to Chinatown, these areas offer some of the best street photography in the world. Our lunch will be in a traditional English pub.

After a leisurely lunch and discussions around photography topics, we head out again. We will start at the beautiful Westminster Abbey and slowly make our way to Tower Bridge on foot. Following the River Thames, we will pass some of the most iconic buildings in London. These include the Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Our evening will be spent photographing the beautiful Tower Bridge and the city skyline.

Day 2

This morning we visit the famous Borough Market – a favourite for Londoners. This food market is one of the best in the world for practising market and food photography. No doubt after walking around this market you will be feeling hungry so lunch will be at the market.

From there we will make our way to Greenwich. This area along the Thames is known for being at the international dateline. The Cutty Sark, Greenwich Market, 02 Arena, National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory are all located here. We will spend the afternoon and evening photographing this beautiful area.

Day 3

Our last morning together starts in East London. Our first stop is the fabulous flower market at Columbia Road. It is then onto Brick Lane. This area is like a huge outdoor art gallery and offers wonderful street photography. This area of London is one of the most culturally diverse places anywhere in Europe and the photo opportunities are never-ending.

We will spend a few hours over lunch reviewing images and answering questions. Then it is on to our final sunset shoot in Trafalgar Square. Before our shoot, we will enjoy our final dinner together. As the day turns to night and the lights come on, we can practice our long exposure photography.

It is then time to say our goodbyes and go our separate ways.
