Absolutely! In fact, we encourage new photographers to come along. However, although you will be taught a lot, you may find it beneficial to attend one of our 1 day beginner classes first. Please feel free to contact us for advice.
No. You don't need the latest and most expensive camera to attend any of our workshops or tours. However, point and shoot cameras and smartphones are not suitable for some of our workshops due to their limitations. We do run specific smartphone photography workshops. If you would like to check if your camera is suitable, get in touch with us.
Every tour is different and will have different costs included. Please check details of what is included and not on each tour page.
No. We are completely honest about what is and isn't included in the tour price. If you are unsure or want to check anything please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Yes. Travel insurance must be secured for when your remaining balance is due on a tour 120 days prior to a trip. We will require proof of travel insurance in the form of an insurance certificate. You will not be able to attend a tour or certain workshops without adequate travel insurance. We would also highly recommend insuring your photography equipment for damage, loss or theft for the duration of your trip.
This is vital for your own safety in case of an emergency. A medical form can ensure that you are given the right medication and help. It is important that you are completely honest on your form. We will dispose of your form securely after the workshop or tour is finished.
All of our workshops and tours will require some level of walking. Some will be less, with short walks on flat paved surfaces and some will be in remote locations trekking for long hours in difficult conditions. If you are unsure if you are going to be fit enough for a tour, contact us for more information.
If you want to cancel your booking please get in touch with us immediately. You can read more about our cancellation policy at www.thatwildidea.co.uk/cancellation-policy
