Our Dubrovnik photography workshop will provide you with in-depth knowledge of what it takes to be a successful travel photographer. There will be many shoots in the most perfect locations at the best time of day. These practical sessions will involve scouting locations and taking pictures. You will learn how to determine the best scene and time of day to shoot. You will also learn how to find a backup and secondary locations. Our workshop will be focused on producing unique, beautiful, and timeless images.
Our hub for our Dubrovnik workshop is in the centre of Dubrovnik’s old town. In the awe-inspiring War Photo Limited gallery, it is the perfect place to hold our classroom sessions. This curated museum is dedicated to art and conflict photography and cannot help but inspire you. Classroom sessions will cover everything from editing and workflow to backing up work. We will also cover topics such as shoot planning and logistics. Additionally, there will be plenty of opportunities to get feedback on your work. For those who want to go further, you can also learn how to market your images and get commissions.
Why you should come on our Dubrovnik photography workshop
Dubrovnik is what all fairy-tale Mediterranean cities should look like. It is no wonder that it is nicknamed the “pearl of the Adriatic”. This charming old city has played host to many a Hollywood film and TV show. Maybe it is the turquoise blue water or the way the city walls glow in the afternoon light, but Dubrovnik is a perfect location for photography.
Who better to guide you around Dubrovnik than Jordan Banks who spent years living in this region. So this tour is not only designed to take you to the most photogenic locations but also to locations that only insiders know about. Your days will cover a wide range of scenarios both involving setup shoots and natural street photography. There will be sunrises and sunsets to capture, and settings to master with challenging light conditions to tackle. By the time you arrive back home, you will have a better knowledge of photography and some amazing photos.
