Why you should come to our Cornwall photography workshop

Cornwall is as historic as it is beautiful. This is where the chiselled coast of north Cornwall is constantly battered by the wild seas of the Atlantic ocean. A land where old abandoned mines still dominate the landscape.

For a landscape photographer, it’s the perfect location for stunning photos. So what better place to practice and learn landscape photography than this beautiful region in the South West.

This is a workshop dedicated to the art of landscape photography. Not only will you experience amazing locations at the best time of the day, but you will get the guidance to improve your photography.

There will be many different landscape scenarios, lighting situations, and certainly different weather conditions. All this will provide the various challenges that landscape photography throws at you.

You will be guided through each scenario with expert help, advice, and encouragement. You will learn about settings, composition, filters, long exposures and so much more. There will be amazing shoots, stunning scenery, and a good few Cornish pasties.

Professional service by pro photographers

There are lots of Cornwall workshops and even day workshops out there. So why should you choose us?

Unlike many other photography tour providers, your tutors Kav Dadfar and Jordan Banks are professional landscape and seascape photographers. Not only by title but in practice. They are working photographers who have spent years honing their skills. Their work has appeared across the globe in the likes on National Geographic, Wanderlust Travel Magazine and Lonely Planet and many more publications.

Peace of mind when booking a Cornwall photography trip

There has never been a more important time in ensuring that your deposit or payment is safe. So in the event that any of our tours or workshops don’t go ahead, we offer a 100% refund. No fees and no excuses. So can rest assured that if you book a Cornish landscape photography workshop with us, your booking is safe if the unexpected happens.

We are also taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our guests and instructors. Find out more about this in our blog post: Coronavirus Update – Our Workshop Safety Promise.

Private tours

We have always believed that small groups are best for travelling. Not only are they safer to run and manage. But they are also much more sustainable and responsible. This is even more important for a photography course where learning is key.

For this reason we run all our UK workshops as private tours. This means workshops can be tailored to exactly what you want to achieve. Whether it’s a night photography tour or landscape photography, imagine how much you could learn in a few days with a private instructor to guide you!

*Private tours are open to groups should you already be two or more people looking to attend the workshop.

Whatever level you are at, we can help

You may have only recently decided to take up photography and find it all overwhelming. Or you may have some knowledge but struggle to capture the sort of photos that you dream of. Or you could be a serious amateur with years of experience but want to take your photography to the next level.

Whatever level you are at, come and visit Cornwall with us and we’ll help you achieve your photography goals. If you are unsure if you would benefit from this workshop or wish to know more, feel free to email us at

Cornwall Landscape Photography Workshop Tentative Itinerary

Day 1 – Falmouth => Godrevy => St. Ives

Our Cornwall photography workshop starts in Falmouth. After arriving at the hotel you will have a meet-and-greet and a brief discussion with your tutor before we dive straight in. We will then make the drive to the Godrevy and its beautiful coastline. From there we make the short drive to hippy town of St. Ives. This will be the location for our sunset shoot.

Day 2 – Land’s End => Bottallack & Porthcurno => Lizard (B)

It’s a packed second day as we start with a sunrise shoot at Land’s End. This stunning area with its striking cliffs is a photographer’s paradise. We spend the rest of the day stopping at small coastal villages and photographing some of the less known sights such as Botallack and Porthcurno before heading to the Lizard peninsula for sunset.

Day 3 – St. Michael’s Mount => Falmouth => End of Tour (B)

Our final day starts with a sunrise shoot at the iconic St. Michaels Mount. If there is low tide you will be able to see the amazing cobbled walkway that leads to the imposing castle. After our shoot, we will return to Falmouth where will have a final discussion and review some images. After which we will say our goodbyes go our separate ways.
