You are free to arrive throughout the day into Dubrovnik. After being transferred to the hotel you are free to spend the rest of the day and evening how you want.

Day 2 – Dubrovnik (B, L, D)

We will meet at our hotel lobby in the morning for the start of the tour. After a brief meet-and-greet your tour leader will address the group and talk through a few of That Wild Idea’s photographic principles and techniques. This will be followed by a brunch where we will have a chance to discuss what each team member is looking to achieve, their individual style and preferred subject matter. We will then head out to photograph the beautiful old town of Dubrovnik and walk the city walls in the late afternoon. We will finish up with a sunset shoot followed by our welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 – Dubrovnik => Cravat => Dubrovnik (B, L, D)

It is an early start to the day with a sunrise shoot followed by a walk through the old town when it is quiet. At this time you will get to see the city through a more authentic eye before the crowds arrive. After a late breakfast, we will head to the traditional green market. After lunch we go south for a few miles to the town of Cravat. Situated on the Adriatic Coast, it is known for its beaches, and the many ancient Illyrian necropolises that are dotted around the area. After exploring the area we will get back to Dubrovnik to capture the city from Srd (the top of the mountain) overlooking the whole city at sunset. The day will end with a sumptuous dinner whilst enjoying sweeping views of Dubrovnik.

Day 4 – Dubrovnik => Sveti Stefan => Budva => Kotor (Montenegro) (B, L, D)

This morning we will take the short drive over the border to Montenegro and the stunning town of Sveti Stefan. After photographing this picturesque islet sitting on the Adriatic coast, we will drive a short distance to Budva where we will enjoy a hearty lunch. With replenished energy, we will explore the narrow streets of the medieval old town, home to a seaside citadel and religious sites. After a sunset shoot and dinner we will make the short journey to our hotel in Kotor.

Day 5 – Kotor => Perast (B, L, D)

Our day will start with a sunrise shoot from the fortress overlooking the city and the bay of Kotor. After a quick snack, we will then explore the old town before enjoying lunch in this historic fortified town. After lunch, we will catch a boat to Ostrvo island in the bay of Kotor before being dropped off at the beautiful town of Perast for our sunset shoot location. Dinner will be on the bay of Kotor before heading back to the hotel.

Day 6 – Perast => Ston => Mostar (Bosnia) (B, L, D)

After a lazy morning and delicious breakfast at our hotel, we will move north to explore the old town of Ston. Located on the Peljesac peninsula this city is famous for its salt flats and city walls. After a fresh and tasty lunch, we will head inland and into Bosnia to the town of Mostar. After a stroll around the old town, we will pick our spot along the river to capture the sunset as the city and its famous bridge come to life. Dinner will be a traditional Bosnian cuisine on the banks of the Neretva.

Day 7 – Mostar => Kravica => Dubrovnik (B, L, D)

Our penultimate day will see us start with a sunrise shoot over the old town followed by a historical walk through the sites of Mostar. A quick breakfast, then we will head back towards Dubrovnik, stopping on route at Kravica waterfalls to capture this amazing cascade. Once back in Dubrovnik you will have some free time. If you wish you can explore the island of Lokrum or a kayak tour around the city walls (not included in the tour price). This evening we will meet for our farewell dinner before saying our goodbyes.

Day 8 – End of Tour (B)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your homebound journey.
